ENJOY THE RIDE!
Op zondag 14 november zijn ook wij van de partij op de BAAS-Pop Up in Leuven.

BAAS?
BAAS is een traject dat enthousiaste en leergierige jongeren vanaf 18 jaar onderdompelt in de wondere wereld van het ondernemen. Met onze 28 levensjaren mochten wij onszelf ook nog net jongeren noemen en schreven we ons een jaar geleden in.
Na een stevig jaartraject presenteren wij samen met de 19 andere BAAS’ers van MIJNLEUVEN de BAAS Pop-Up, een vierdaags evenement waarop de verschillende BAAS-producten en -diensten aan het grote publiek getoond worden. Kijk rond in onze winkel en op onze expo, voel de goesting en het talent tijdens één van de vele workshops en talks of drink en eet iets lekkers in onze BAAS-bar!

SOCIAL RIDE
We organiseren zondag 14/11 een social ride van 45 km. Zin om eens met een groep samen te fietsen? Heb je tijdens de wintermaanden een reden nodig om nog eens op je fiets te kruipen? Zin om nog eens wat nieuwe cycling lovers te leren kennen? Come join us!
Voor deze rit hebben we 30 zadelplaatsjes vrij, wees er dus snel bij!

45 KM - FOR ALL
Op onze social rides gaan we prat op de all-inclusiveness. Op de vorige Baroudeur Social Rides werden we enorm gepakt door hoe iedereen elkaar aangemoedigde, met een glimlach elkaar opwachtte en elkaar de nodige (letterlijke) duwtjes in de rug gaf. Dat groepsgevoel willen we nog eens meemaken!

Startuur: 10.00 uur
Afstand: 45 km
Gemiddelde snelheid: 24 km/u
Verzamellocatie: MIJNLEUVEN Stadhuis, Naamsestraat 3, Leuven
Verwachte aankomst: 12.30 uur, maar reken nog een uurtje erbij voor een hapje en drankje in de BAAS Bar ;-)

Hieronder kan je je inschrijven voor de rit.
De rit zal worden begeleid door Noémie en Charlotte en ambassador Jens.
Meedoen is gratis. Je krijgt zelfs €5 korting op onze kledij in de BAAS-Pop-up!!

We verzamelen om 10u en plannen te vertrekken om 10u30. Wij geven op voorhand nog kort wat algemene guidelines rond fietsen in groep en hebben ook wat tijd nodig om jullie aanwezigheden te checken!
Indien het te slecht weer is, gaat de rit niet door en zijn jullie welkom op onze Baas Bar! Maar voor een paar drupjes regen laten we ons zeker niet afschrikken.

Terms & Conditions
Come as you ride
We cannot offer a locker or place where you can safeguard your stuff. Bring whatever you need to ride & nothing more.
Come as you are
This is a safe and all-inclusive ride. We welcome you in any physical shape, gender or color. The only requirement is you are able to safely ride your road bike (Yes, we do mean not falling sideways at a red light when still clipped in. No judgement, been there done that). If you have a Baroudeur cycling kit, it would be awesome if you wear it!
New to cycling?
Don’t worry about the speed, riding in group is a lot easier than alone! We and our ambassadors will be able to give you some tips & tricks. We would recommend you have done a few rides of minimum 30 km before participating.

COVID
At all stops we will follow the local safety guidelines. Please bring a clean mask to wear at the meeting points and stops. If you are feeling sick, please stay home.
GDPR & social media
By subscribing to this Social Ride, you accept the use of any photos or videos taken by the Baroudeur team or other riders. Photos and videos made during the Baroudeur Social Rides may be used for promotional purposes. We will not publish information about a person in a social media story or promotional campaign without asking for explicit permission to do so. We do everything with the utmost care to respect participants’ identity, self-esteem and privacy. If despite our best efforts, we fail to respect participant preferences, a request can be made to remove them.
We cannot be held responsible for the publication of photos and videos done by other participants on the ride. Should you prefer not to have your photo/video taken, we strongly advise you to inform the photographer/videographer of your preferences. All participants members are requested to respect the preferences and privacy rights of other members.
Personal data is stored securely within the Baroudeur database. Your data will not be shared with third parties.

Belgian weather
We hope September will bring us only sunshine. However, the Baroudeur team can decide to cancel the social ride up to one hour before departure, if the weather conditions are compromising the safety. We will not take this decision lightly and will not cancel for a bit of headwind or some drops of rain. Please feel free to visit us at our stand anyway.

Mechanical issues
Make sure you have checked your bicycle before the ride. Try to bring your own tools to fix a flat tire or small mechanical issues. Our ambassadors will help you out and guide you back to the group. We advise to purchase a Cycling Vlaanderen recreational license to have full year road assistance.

Medical issues
We hope we will not need it, but the Baroudeur team has a lot of expertise with medical emergencies as several of us are physicians working in UZ Leuven. In the 30 and 65 km ride, we will be able to provide first aid care. By participating you declare to be in a healthy physical condition. If you have a specific medical condition that might require urgent interventions, please alert the Baroudeur team and bring the required drugs (for example an Epipen in case of severe allergy) . Furthermore, we advise to purchase a Cycling Vlaanderen recreational license to have cycling insurance for both medical costs and personal liability.
Baroudeur cannot be held responsible for any issues occurring during the social ride.
